Surveying & 3D mapping
Drone technology allows 3D mapping to be carried out quickly and at a fraction of the cost compared to other methods. By using our drone we can select the area required, and programme the drone to autonomously fly the whole area. The 3D mapping programme takes pictures at regular intervals, then stitches them together to produce the finished model. From the data collected we can generate 3D models to demonstrate building and construction projects, crop growth, industrial landscapes and even indoor locations.
As technology improves these models will become more detailed and complex, allowing greater flexibility as to the objections and location where mapping is possible.
